Nao Iwamatsu
Naoaki Iwamatsu, known professionally as Nao Iwamatsu, is a Tokyo-based Japanese industrial and service designer and project director. He studied Design Management Engineering at Kyoto Institute of Technology and completed graduate studies before designing multifunction printers and professional equipment at a major information-equipment manufacturer. Since joining Takram in 2020, he has worked across industrial design, business design, brand identity, and new-business development, including a mirrorless-camera interchangeable lens for TAMRON and AIR SHELF with Heian Shindo Kogyo. His independent work has been shown at Milan Salone, with collaborations including Karimoku Furniture and GROOVE X. His awards include the James Dyson Award Japan national top prize, iF Design Award, and German Design Award.
