Gen Suzuki
Gen Suzuki is a Japanese product designer and director of GEN SUZUKI STUDIO in Kamakura, Kanagawa, founded in 2014. He studied product design at Kanazawa College of Art and the Royal College of Art, then worked at Panasonic and IDEO in London and Boston. His practice covers consumer products, furniture, electronics and healthcare, with clients including Herman Miller, Casper, Panasonic, OMRON and Sekisaka; projects include TUB, Oblique, HAKO, Glow, Walden, KAMI and Table Bell Timbre. His work has been shown at Japanmade Vol. 1 during 3daysofdesign Copenhagen and is held in the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum collection. Recognition includes IDEA Gold, German Design Award Gold, iF awards, Good Design awards and D&AD recognition.
