Teruhiro Yanagihara
Teruhiro Yanagihara (b. 1976, Kagawa) is a Japanese designer who graduated from Osaka University of Arts in 1999 and established his own practice in 2002. Working across product and furniture design, interiors, spatial and art direction, graphic design, branding, and creative direction, he operates Teruhiro Yanagihara Studio between Kobe and Arles, with Vague as its creative platform. His documented work includes 1616 / arita japan, creative direction for KARIMOKU NEW STANDARD, and projects for Offecct, Pallucco, Sergio Rossi, Kimura Glass, Kvadrat, and Hermès, including the Edition 01 chair. His practice has been presented through EARTHSCAPE at DESIGNART TOKYO 2019 and recognized by an Elle Decor Young Talent of the Year 2010 nomination.
