Shizuka Tatsuno
Shizuka Tatsuno is a Japanese creative director and product designer who leads Shizuka Tatsuno Studio in Meguro, Tokyo. She studied Product and Furniture Design at Kingston University London, became independent in 2011, founded her studio in 2017, and taught at Nihon University College of Art from 2015 to 2018. Her practice spans product design, furniture, creative direction, exhibition design, and art production, with projects including HAQUA, KORAI, Kumihana, a moment in time, and Traces of Life. Her presentations and collaborations include Karimoku Commons Tokyo, Royal Copenhagen, Fritz Hansen, YKK, and the LEXUS NEW TAKUMI PROJECT, and her recognitions include the ELLE DECOR Japan Young Japanese Design Talents Award, Good Design Awards, TOPAWARDS ASIA, and the Japan Traditional Craft Forum Grand Prix.
