Masaya Kawamoto
Masaya Kawamoto, born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1990, is a Tokyo-based Japanese product and industrial designer working across office and public-facility furniture, home appliances, and household goods. He graduated from Nihon University's College of Industrial Technology in 2013 and completed its Graduate School of Art, Industrial Design major, in 2015; he then worked at Okamura Corporation from 2015 to 2022, a domestic design office from 2022 to 2024, and became independent in 2024. His notable work includes the PF Chair, PF Armchair, and seven-piece PFS Press Furniture Series, developed with FUJIARCH and MEINETSU. Exhibited at Designart Tokyo 2024, ALCOVA Milano 2025, Design Shanghai 2025, and SaloneSatellite Milano 2026, his work received the 2022 Red Dot Design Award and GOOD DESIGN AWARD.
