Akihiro Kumagaya
Akihiro Kumagaya is a Tokyo-based Japanese designer and director, and representative of AK_DD. Active independently since 2007, he works across product and furniture design, spatial direction, branding, graphics and exhibition planning. His projects include the OPEN flat-pack table and stand for FIEL, the PARK series for SEKISAKA, and the CBG-2 camera bag for Olympus, which received a Good Design Award. Kumagaya has also directed or designed exhibitions and cultural projects for MUJI, including STOCK, and presented his OBJECTS series through (PLACE) by method and IDÉE GALLERY.
