So Koizumi
So Koizumi is a Japanese designer based in Tokyo, where he founded SO KOIZUMI DESIGN in 2021. He graduated from Tama Art University’s Department of Architecture and Environmental Design in 2014 and worked as a designer’s assistant at a Tokyo design office from 2014 to 2021. His practice spans objects, product design, furniture, lighting, spatial design, and installations, with an experimental focus on materials, structures, and the relationship between everyday use and sensory experience. Notable works include Seven Wind Chime, a tensegrity-based project awarded the Silver A’ Design Award in Furniture Design, and Fossilized Future, presented at ALCOVA Milano and his 2024 solo exhibition at es quart in Tokyo. Publicly identified collaborators include Fukunaga Print and POINTTWOFIVE·SECOND.
