OVERVIEW

South Korea's first program focused on human-environment interaction, established 1996 in the College of Human Ecology. The Department of Integrated Design offers undergraduate tracks in Product Design and Furniture Design — one of the rare dedicated furniture tracks in Korean higher education. Product Design covers materials, form, surface design, user interaction, and digital/service design. Furniture Design emphasizes the interplay between users, interior space, and materiality. Graduate Industrial Design program at SGCC covers medical devices, ICT equipment, furniture, transportation, and digital media with interdisciplinary collaboration.

Yonsei University's design education spans both undergraduate and graduate levels.
