Unlike the main Seoul campus which has a dedicated Industrial Design major, Hongik University's Sejong Campus houses its product and industrial design offerings under the Department of Design Convergence (part of the School of Design Convergence/College of Design & Arts). Established to break boundaries between traditional design fields, the Product Design curriculum integrates Product Design, Communication Design, and Digital Media Design. The program emphasizes 3D modeling, prototyping, UX/UI analysis, and hands-on innovation studios.
