Aimed at cultivating competent design planners with global industry expertise, the program trains comprehensive design producers to solve societal problems through a total design perspective. Undergraduate students blend technology-oriented design (transportation systems, medical design) with human-oriented design (environment, game, farm, and food). The Graduate School of Design offers a Product·UX Design major focusing on tangible and intangible product systems, encompassing planning, styling, interaction design, and service design. Furniture design is integrated into the Industrial Design curriculum under the human/environmental design track.
