Hongik University’s Department of Industrial Design is part of its College of Fine Arts at the Seoul campus. The four-year undergraduate curriculum begins with foundations in two- and three-dimensional design, design history, and computer graphics before students select product, spatial, or mobility study.
Coursework combines UX analysis, service design planning, digital 3D modeling, prototyping, and sustainable design with projects in consumer products, electronics, furniture, interior elements, and transportation. The department also offers graduate study in design and uses project-based work to develop practical and professional portfolios.
