Thomas Jefferson University's BS in Industrial Design is a four-year program in the Kanbar College of Design, Engineering & Commerce in Philadelphia. The curriculum develops a human-centered approach to products, services, and systems through visualization, computer-aided design, materials, manufacturing, design ethics, and studio projects.
Students collaborate across design, engineering, business, and architecture and complete an Industry Sprint and a required industry project. Study also includes three-dimensional modeling, prototyping, sustainable design, and professional portfolio development.
