The Kunsthochschule Kassel approaches design as a 'cultural technology.' The curriculum emphasizes the integration of theory and practice, material sensitivity, and critical reflection on social, ecological, and technological contexts. Students work in close mentorship with professors and have access to extensive workshops (ceramics, wood, metal, textiles, digital fabrication).
