LUCA School of Arts is a higher-education institution in Belgium, and its Product Design program is based at the post-industrial C-mine site in Genk. The program connects design practice with social and environmental questions through the competencies of Exploring, Making, and Storytelling.
Bachelor's and master's study use studio projects, theoretical design expertise courses, and workshops supported by wood and metalworking equipment, 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC mills. From the second year, projects may be developed with companies, alongside design workshops led by guest lecturers and opportunities for professional or international collaboration.
