Drexel University's Westphal College of Media Arts & Design offers a nationally recognized, four-year BS in Product Design (Industrial Design). The program focuses on creating physical products for commercialization, blending aesthetics, technology, business strategy, and social science to prepare students for industries including consumer electronics, furniture, medical devices, transportation, toys, and startups. Students build technical proficiency in CAD, materials research, prototyping, testing, and UX/UI design, alongside fundamentals in drawing, color theory, photography, and graphic design.
