The Bachelor of Science HES-SO in Industrial Design Engineering at HE-Arc Ingénierie trains versatile engineers who blend technical competence with creative product design. The curriculum covers engineering sciences (45 ECTS), industrial product design (41 ECTS), multidisciplinary projects (30 ECTS), sustainable design (14 ECTS), humanities (16 ECTS), and a specialization track (34 ECTS). Year 1 is taken in Neuchâtel or Delémont; Years 2–3 in Neuchâtel or Saint-Imier. Students choose either the Concept and Design track — focusing on innovation, market trends, ergonomics, and product development — or the Mechanical Design track — focusing on industrial equipment, mechanisms, simulation, and manufacturing optimization. Part-time 4-year option available. Part of the HES-SO University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland network. Taught in French.
