Istituto Marangoni's Milan campus offers a three-year BA in Product Design and a master's program in Product and Furniture Design. The bachelor's curriculum is recognized within Italy's AFAM system and follows the design process from concept development to commercialization, using individual and team projects to build research, analysis, creation, and presentation skills.
Study covers material research, industrial organization, sustainability, ergonomics, and the historical and craft contexts of Italian design. Across the three years, students progress from freehand and digital technical drawing, 3D modeling, and materials knowledge to professional collaborations, self-production, advanced rendering, specialized projects, workshops, and portfolio development.
