iF Design Student Award

Who can enter this award?

Current university or design-school students worldwide, plus graduates whose degree was obtained no more than two years before submission. Entries may be submitted individually or in teams of up to four, with unrestricted age and geographic eligibility.

What is the prize?

EUR 50,000 total prize money, shared among the selected winning entries; winners also receive international exposure and presentation in the iF Design winners section.

What do I need to submit?

Submit online in English with a presentation poster in PDF format using the iF template, up to 5 MB, two entry images, one landscape and one portrait, in JPG or PNG RGB format, each no more than 4,750 pixels wide and 5 MB, and a design statement of up to 650 characters. An optional video link may provide additional explanation, and the package is evaluated from digital materials.

Do I need to submit a physical prototype?

A physical prototype is not required for this award. You can submit your project without providing a physical prototype.
