The K-Design Award is an international design competition organized by Designsori that uses multi-stage jury review to recognize original and practical industrial, spatial, and communication design.

Launched in 2012, the K-Design Award is an international competition organized by Designsori, a Korean design media corporation. It covers industrial, spatial, and communication design and welcomes professional, student, company, and concept entries from around the world.

A global jury evaluates work through online pre judging, finalist review, and final judging against aesthetics, originality, and practicality. Winners gain online exhibition, winner logo licensing, custom font rights, a certificate, yearbook publication, and recognition at the Seoul ceremony.

What is the prize?

One team receives the highest award. Other distinctions include Grand Prize, Gold Winner, and Winner; all winners receive online exhibition, winner-logo licensing, custom font rights, a certificate, and a yearbook.

What do I need to submit?

Submit online only: 2 to 3 JPG/RGB panel sheets for industrial or space categories and 2 to 6 for communication, sized 250 × 180 or 180 × 250 mm and no more than 2 MB each. An optional YouTube or Youku video may be added, and English and native-language summary and description fields are required. For the 2026 late period, fees are US$360 for companies, US$325 for professionals, or US$85 for students; finalist fees are US$700, US$650, or US$190, respectively.

Do I need to submit a physical prototype?

A physical prototype is not required for this award. You can submit your project without providing a physical prototype.
