The University of Kentucky offers a four-year Bachelor of Science in Product Design through its College of Design, where Product Design is the formal degree title for the field traditionally associated with industrial design. The curriculum uses a human-centered approach and combines intensive studios with materials, manufacturing processes, fabrication technology, and human factors and ergonomics.
Students can pursue product applications including vehicle and automotive design, medical products, digital products, housewares, athletic gear, and furniture.
