Who can enter this award?

Open internationally. The general division is for undergraduate or graduate students and individual designers, the organization division is for companies and organizations, and the youth division is for students under 18 or pre-university youth.

What is the prize?

The awards include one Grand Prize of KRW 20 million, two Gold Prizes of KRW 4 million each, four Silver Prizes of KRW 2 million each, and six Bronze Prizes of KRW 1 million each.

What do I need to submit?

Submit digital design concepts, images and descriptions through the Asia Design Platform. Entries that pass preliminary screening submit physical works or prototypes to the Design Council Busan secretariat for offline evaluation; the organization division fee is KRW 100,000 per entry, while general and youth divisions are free.

Do I need to submit a physical prototype?

Only finalists are required to submit a physical prototype. You do not need to submit one when applying or making your initial submission. If selected as a finalist, a physical prototype may need to be sent for evaluation and additional costs may apply. Check the official award website for specific requirements and shipping details.
