STUDIO KIMINSEOK
Ki Minseok is a Seoul-based furniture and object designer who operates STUDIO KIMINSEOK in Gwangjin-gu. His practice develops functional wooden furniture and collectible objects, with projects including Aspect, Baggy Bar Chair, Distinction Stools, and Layer Stool, and collaborations with esou architects, designtwoply, Z-Lab, and C1S. Earlier work under Dayworks explored the relationship between everyday objects and functional furniture, using hardwood, proportion, light, shadow, and restrained forms. His Layer Stool was selected for Design Press and Naver Grafolio’s 2019 Everyday Object creator support project, and his exhibitions include Craft Trend Fair, HPIX, NEXT CREATORS, and Palais de Seoul’s 쓰임-새.
