Huisu Cho
Huisu Cho is a product designer based in Seoul, South Korea, and Lausanne, Switzerland. His practice spans furniture, lighting, dining and kitchen products, objects, installations, and visual direction, with work for commercial clients and independent projects. Cho earned a BA in Product Design from Hongik University and an MAS in Design for Luxury and Craftsmanship from ECAL. He has worked as an industrial designer at Samsung Electronics and Studio PESI. Hook, his adjustable lighting concept, won the 2020 Red Dot Design Award and 2021 IBDA. Selected work includes BAN Lounge Collection, a lounge chair and table collection for Mazda CH inspired by the vessel form and East Asian lacquer culture; Samsung Electronics' Bespoke AI Water Purifier; and Carousel, a dining plate set shown in the 2024 Revolve exhibition in Seoul. His Roof rug series, A Chair, and Chimney were presented in the 2024 Seoul exhibition Model House. The Dial, an installation made with Anna Anderson, was shown at Watches & Wonders in Geneva in 2026.
