Shigeki Fujishiro
Shigeki Fujishiro is a Japanese product and furniture designer born in Tokyo in 1974 and based in Miyota, Nagano Prefecture. After graduating from Kuwasawa Design School, he joined IDÉE in 1998, where he designed standard and commissioned furniture, and established shigeki fujishiro design after becoming independent in 2005. His practice spans furniture, interior products, daily goods, material development, spatial and window display, and experimental objects, with works including Knot, Rivet Lamp, Flip Shelf, Sierra Sofa, 2016/Arita, STAN SMITH PLAY, MIX, and Knit!. His projects and collaborations include Hermès, adidas, HAY, Kvadrat, AJI project, and MINO SOIL. Recent presentations include Baskets at Design Gallery 1953 in 2025, MAG MANEKI at STUDIO 894, and MIX at LICHT gallery in 2026.
