ADAM Design Museum Brussels is located beside the Atomium and is best known for the Plastic Design Collection, developed from the collection assembled by Philippe Decelle. The museum looks at how plastic changed domestic objects and interiors from the 1950s through the 1990s.
The collection contains about 2,000 pieces, including furniture, household objects, and accessories, with a selection shown in the permanent galleries. Visitors can also see Belgian design and rotating exhibitions that broaden the story beyond plastic and connect design history with current practice.
