Sebastian Alberdi
Spanish-Argentinian industrial designer Sebastian Alberdi is based in Barcelona since 2002. He runs his own studio and is co-founder of design collective Outofstock (est. 2006). Between both practices, he´s been developing furniture, small objects and conceptual experiences in collaboration with renowned brands and institutions such as Ligne Roset, Blå Station, Missana, The Josef & Anni Albers Foundation, Bolia, Ekobo or Clear Gallery Tokyo among others. Since 2007. he has been a professor and advisor at IED (Instituto Europeo di Design Barcelona). Sebastian’s work is in a constant exploration pushing materials, technology and crafts boundaries, seeking for new functional and visual codes.
