Scope Design & Strategy

Scope Design & Strategy is a product design and strategy studio based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. Founded in 1997 by Pim Jonkman, it works across industrial product development, engineering, customer research and digital interaction design. Its process runs from customer insights and concept development through CAD, prototyping and testing, alongside UX/UI for physical and digital products. The studio’s portfolio spans public infrastructure, mobility, medical, industrial, consumer, coffee and agricultural applications. Projects include Agrocares F type, Holmatro Wireless Remote, ProRail retro fit, Trilo C30W, an SKF strobe and Nio. A case study of the Soilcares soil scanner records a Red Dot: Best of the Best award in 2017. Scope also advises on customer journeys, opportunity mapping, roadmaps and risk identification, linking product design to implementation and market strategy.
