Husarska
Husarska Design is a Polish industrial design studio founded in 2014 by Jadwiga Husarska-Chmielarz, based in Kraków. The studio has delivered nearly 200 product implementations across furniture, lighting, medical devices, and sports equipment for clients including Krofam. Their approach is user-centered and end-to-end, from initial research through to market entry, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, ergonomics, and local European production. In 2024 they launched ReHemptation, an in-house sustainable furniture line built around "Strumber," a proprietary hemp-based wood alternative. The collection includes the HempSolo table, modular HempStools, and the HempBean coffee table, all zero-waste, flat-pack designs shown at Dutch Design Week 2024. They've also exhibited at Warsaw Home & Contract and 4 Design Days.
