Pillar Design
Pillar Design is a Seattle-based studio that develops physical products from early concept through engineering, prototyping, and production support. Its capabilities include user interface design, ergonomics, industrial design, materials selection, engineering, prototyping, and manufacturing preparation. The process connects product form and interaction with practical development requirements, and the studio works across consumer and industrial markets. Pillar's projects range from audio equipment and cycling components to exercise products and home-improvement tools.
Examples include the Mackie M Caster Live, Flatbike Pop-Off Pedals, Ride A-6 and A-4 snowboard bindings, RVL Strength Wings, and Homax TexPro Texture System Sprayer. Founded by Bob Carrasca in 2008, the studio is led by principal Conor Murnane. Its work extends from concept through production, with engineering and product realization included alongside design. The studio operates from West Seattle and provides a direct inquiry email and Instagram profile.
