DIVE
Founded as DiveDesign in 2017 by industrial designers Alex Tholl and Adam Hecht, the studio is now branded DIVE and lists its address at 84 Main St, Bloomingdale, New Jersey 07403, USA. The team develops products from concept through engineering, prototyping and production, with a particular focus on additive manufacturing and design for 3D printing. Its work spans medical, consumer goods, architecture and construction, and automotive sectors.
Selected projects include the X Chair for Xtellar, a two-part 3D-printed chair created to demonstrate Xtellar/Braskem material; a security robot for Asylon; and 3D-printed prosthetics for 3D Pets. Tholl is CEO and Hecht Director of Additive Manufacturing, supported by four additional staff. Clients include Mitsubishi, nTopology, Formlabs, Braskem, ShapeDiver, Polyspectra and Dremel.
